Diagnostic evaluation of the Military Veterans' Economic Empowerment and Skills Transferability Programme

Description

This diagnostic evaluation sought to understand the status of Military Veterans (MVs) and to document in more detail their existing education, skills, experience as well as their employment status and aspirations. This is used to explore the kind of support that they would require, and to review the extent to which the proposed empowerment and skills transferability strategy will address these needs and will contribute to ensuring that the mission of the Department of Military
Veterans (DMV) is achieved. This is “to facilitate delivery and co-ordinate all activities that recognise and entrench the restoration of dignity and appreciation of the contribution of Military Veterans to
our freedom and nation building.”
